Unsure what type of therapy you need? I offer a one-off 90-minute telephone/Zoom consultation (on Sundays). This is a full mental health assessment to help you understand why you are feeling the way you do. We will explore your current difficulties, background, development and life goals.

This service is for those who do not want a full course of therapy, or who are unsure about their difficulties and need advice on how to seek the right support. However, if you would like to have CBT or EMDR sessions with me after this, we can determine whether my expertise aligns with your needs.
Sessions are 55 minutes long and can be held either face to face or via an online video chat using Zoom. I offer as many sessions as necessary for each person. Typically, CBT sessions range from 12 – 20 weekly sessions.
The first few sessions will be aimed at gathering a full assessment of your difficulties and background. Once we have a shared understanding of your difficulties, we will start to make changes in line with your goals. You will be required to carry out tasks between sessions to practice techniques. This enhances your learning and progress!
Sessions are 90 minutes long, weekly and are always face-to-face. I offer as many sessions as necessary for each person. The number of EMDR sessions depends on the complexity of your difficulty and past history.
The first few sessions will be aimed at gathering a full assessment of your difficulties and background. I always ensure that you have a full understanding of how EMDR works and work at a pace that suits you. There are no in-between session tasks or 'homework'.
